Attio is beautiful.
Then you put your business in it.
You've probably seen the demo already. It's clean, it's quick, and it's genuinely good software. We're not going to pretend otherwise. Here's the part the demo doesn't show you.
It gets slow once
your data is in it.
Every CRM is fast on a demo. A demo holds forty records. Your business holds forty thousand.
Load real data into Attio and it starts to drag: opening a customer, switching a view, running a search. Not on day one. Around the time it's actually running your business.
This is ours with real data in it. Never a spinner is a thing we say on the front page, and it is the one claim we would rather be judged on than any price.
Don't take our word for it.
It's a one minute test.
- Put the same spreadsheet into both, then open a customer, flip to the pipeline, and search for someone. You'll know in about a minute.
- A slow CRM doesn't just annoy people. It teaches your team to avoid it. And a CRM nobody opens is worse than the spreadsheet you were already using.
You only get to track
five kinds of things.
Attio calls them objects. It just means the kinds of things you keep track of. Customers, contacts, deals: that is three, and that is their entire free plan. Plus, the plan a small team actually buys, gets you five. So count yours.

Every one of those businesses is out of room before it has finished describing itself. Here there is no limit, on any plan, the free one included. Paying us gets you more room, never more kinds of thing.
Attio's Objects row, attio.com/pricing, read 10 September 2026: up to 3 on Free, up to 5 on Plus, up to 12 on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise. The fix on their side is Pro, at more than double the price per seat.
Their automation waits for you. Ours takes a normal sentence.
Attio has automation. It's called Workflows and it's a builder: a canvas with triggers to wire up and branches to draw. It's good, if you sit down and build it. You won't, and nobody at a fifteen-person company has an afternoon for that. So you type this instead:
- Remind me when a deal goes quiet for two weeks.
- Chase unpaid invoices politely until they're paid.
- Tell me when a customer hasn't heard from us in a month.
You describe it.
Autopilot does it.
No canvas, no triggers to wire up, no branches to draw. You write the sentence, it assembles the automation and shows you the plan before anything runs.
It keeps running when your laptop is shut. Everything it does gets written on the customer in plain English, so you can read back what happened, and you can switch it off whenever you want.
You already pay for ChatGPT.
Attio wants you to pay again.
You already pay $20 or $200 a month for ChatGPT or Claude. Attio's answer to AI is metered credits plus packs you buy on top, from €70 to €410 a month. Ours is to connect the assistant you already pay for and let it run the CRM. Attio has a connection like this too, and we're not going to claim theirs is bad. The difference is what gets handed over.
Ours hands your assistant these six written manuals before it touches anything.
And then somebody
gets hired.
Attio's Plus plan stops at ten people. So does their startup discount. There's nothing between Plus and Pro. So person number eleven doesn't cost you one more seat. They move your whole team onto Pro at more than double the rate, everyone included.
Attio
annual billing
- Ten people, one year€31 a seat a month on Plus, which allows up to ten.€3,720
- Eleven people, one year€74 a seat a month on Pro. Everyone moves, not just the new person.€9,768
- What the eleventh person cost youNothing shady is going on. Pro is a bigger plan and does more. The bill just jumps because you hired somebody, not because you wanted anything.€6,048
One more thing worth knowing if you're in the US: Attio prices in euros. There's no dollar price list and no currency switcher. Your card pays the exchange rate and whatever your bank adds to it, and the number on your statement moves month to month.
SoftSync
annual billing
- Ten people, one year$29 a seat a month on Pro.$3,480
- Eleven people, one yearSame plan. Pro goes up to twenty-five people.$3,828
- What the eleventh person cost youThe twelfth, the eighteenth and the twenty-fifth all cost the same.$348
And we publish in dollars.
Attio prices from attio.com/pricing at annual billing, read 10 September 2026. Ours from softsync.ai/pricing. We haven't converted their euros, because that would make the number ours instead of theirs. attio.com/pricing · softsync.ai/pricing
When you should
pick Attio instead.
We'd rather tell you than have you find out.
- You're venture-backed and under ten people. Attio has a startup program, 80% off the first year, and it's a better deal than anything we sell. Take it. Two things to know going in: it's VC-only, so if you're bootstrapped you don't qualify, and it's a staircase. €1,776 the first year, €6,216 the second, €8,880 the third, at ten seats. The price you compare isn't the price you renew at.
- You record and transcribe your sales calls. They do it, we don't. Not a little worse. We don't have it.
- You need deep reporting. Theirs is more mature than ours. Not close.
- You want the safe, obvious choice. Neither of us is it. We're both young. They have public customers and reviews you can read, and we don't yet.
- Their enrichment is better than ours, too. And their free plan holds twice the records: 50,000 against our 25,000 per object. We'd rather you heard that from us.
Questions.
You say Attio is slow. Where's the proof?
Twelve objects sounds like a lot. Why does five matter?
Isn't Autopilot just their Workflows with a chat box?
Do you sell AI credit top-ups like Attio does?
Can we move our data over from Attio?
What does Attio cost with no discount?
Try both. It's free
and it takes an afternoon.
Put the same spreadsheet into both and see which one you'd rather use on a Tuesday. Free forever, no card, no salesperson.
